近日，重庆解放碑八一路的一家酸辣粉店贴出了一个告示：5000碗订婚酸辣粉免费吃。这让大家很惊奇，居然还有订婚请吃酸辣粉的，而且是5000碗，是炒作还是秀恩爱？
据商家的说法，原来这里有个故事：上周日，一个广东小伙到重庆向女友求婚，顺道在这里吃酸辣粉，结果把装有3克拉钻戒的手包弄丢了。一个小姑娘和店员捡到了手包，归还给他。于是，小伙子包下了这家店的5000碗酸辣粉请客表示感谢。

A man bought 5,000 bowls of spicy noodles for Chongqing residents, all because one local returned a bag containing his $44,900 engagement ring, the South China Morning Post reported.
The man, surnamed Wang, traveled to the southwestern city to propose to his girlfriend, but left his bag — with the three-carat rock inside — outside a noodle shop.
Fortunately, an unnamed resident picked up the bag and forked it over to the restaurant manager, who returned it to Wang.
The manager, Yu Xiaohua, said Wang returned the next day and put in the humongous order.
“He asked how many bowls of spicy noodles we sell in a day, and then gave me 35,000 yuan ($5,200), which is 5,000 bowls, saying ‘please invite everyone to eat free for the day.’”
Wang also sent a thank you letter to the noodle shop, adding that his girlfriend had accepted the proposal.
“Chongqing has the woman I love, and so many nice people,” the letter read. “I feel very honored and happy.”
On Tuesday, a long line of residents came to claim their free sour and spicy noodles at the restaurant.
“I think the story is really moving,” a local man said. “Love is beautiful and people’s hearts are more beautiful.”
